"The billing part honestly threw me off"
Checkout was a bit of a headache for me. My card got charged right away, but the confirmation email took way longer than I expected, which always makes me nervous. I ended up messaging support just to make sure the order actually went through. Maybe I’m a little picky about smooth checkout stuff, but this felt messier than it needed to be. Not a dealbreaker, just annoying

I was glad to find the Baldwin latch I needed, and it was actually in stock, which was a relief. The only downside was that the whole experience left me feeling kind of dismissed, like my questions weren’t really worth much time. Happy they had the part, but the service could’ve felt a little more attentive.

So, I did get the correct handles, which was great, but the screws were, like, the wrong size. Kind of annoying because everything else seemed fine, but I had to figure out different screws to actually get them installed

The hardware was close to what was shown in the listing, so no major surprises there. A few details weren’t as clear as I expected though, and I had to double-check things before installing it. It worked out in the end, but clearer instructions or descriptions would’ve made the process easier

"Felt like I was on my own"
I called because I didn’t want to risk ordering the wrong part, and I figured customer service could point me in the right direction. They did answer, but it felt like they were trying to get me off the phone quickly. They mostly just told me to check the website again, which I had already done. I ended up having to figure it out myself, and I was extra careful before placing the order because I didn’t want to deal with a return. Not a terrible experience, but I expected a bit more help.

"Warranty claim was more annoying than it should’ve been"
I had an issue with my Baldwin lock and tried to file a warranty claim through baldwinhardwaredirect.com. The responses were slow, and they kept asking me for information I had already sent over, which that part was weird. It did get taken care of in the end, but the whole process was way more of a hassle than I expected.

I found what I was looking for quickly, the menus actually made sense, the product pages loaded just fine on my laptop, and the checkout didn’t make me stop and wonder what I was supposed to do next, which I always appreciate because I really only spent a few minutes browsing around but the whole site felt smooth and easy to use.

I accidentally ordered the wrong finish for a door handle and had to exchange it. I was expecting the return process to be a hassle, but the instructions were actually clear, and customer support replied the next day. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the refund/exchange took a bit longer than I thought it would. I was just trying to match what was already on my older door, and this lined up perfectly. For a straightforward replacement, it did exactly what I needed. If you're looking for something fancy or a full upgrade, it may depend on your setup, but for my existing hardware it fit great.

I ordered some hardware from baldwinhardwaredirect.com and ended up needing to send it back. The return part was fine, fine enough, but the refund took a really long time. I kept having to check in and check in again because there wasn’t much of a clear update. Customer service did respond, so I’ll give them that, but it still felt like I was just sitting around waiting. I did get my money back eventually, but it was more hassle than it should’ve been. Not terrible, just not great...

I was hunting for a few Baldwin pieces and didn’t expect to find so many options here. They had a nice mix of finishes, styles, and sizes, and it was easy to narrow things down without bouncing between a bunch of different stores. I found what I needed, and of course ended up adding a couple extra things too 😅 Definitely a solid spot if you like having plenty of choices.

"Good value overall"
Prices were better than most other places I looked. The hardware feels solid too, so I do feel like it was worth the money. Shipping cost was a little annoying, but overall I’m happy with what I got.
